Hold on for one more day…

Joseph woke up in a prison that morning but that very same night he fell asleep in a palace.

Why?

Because he chose to trust God one more day in that dark dungeon he was stuck in for years.

Because he chose to hold on one more day and believe that maybe his freedom would be right around the corner.

Because he chose to keep on believing in those dreams that God gave him so long ago that at the moment seemed way out of reach.

Because he chose, in the midst of the darkness to focus on the light.

And because he chose to remain faithful to God when reason would have told him long ago to just give up… that night instead of falling asleep in the prison as usual, he fell asleep in the palace.

In one day it all changed for him. In one day he went from being a prisoner to being the second in command after the nation’s most esteemed leader.

All because he kept on trusting, kept on holding on, kept on having faith…for one more day.

If you are in a place that feels like a prison at the moment, don’t give up.

If you feel “stuck” in your life right now, keep on trusting God.

If you only see darkness all around you, keep holding on to Jesus and His hope for you.

If you see no way out, keep on believing that with God victory will be right around the corner.

Because sometimes all it takes is holding on for one more day, trusting for one more day, believing for one more day… and just like Joseph you can wake up in the palace tomorrow morning instead of the prison.

Wherever you are at, don’t give up.

God knows exactly where you are at this very moment, He knows exactly what you need, and in the right time He’ll get you exactly where you need to be.

Keep holding on for one more day.

Your breakthrough might be right around the corner, but you’ll never know if you don’t keep on going.

Be blessed. ♥… Anna
