This morning you didn’t wake up cold and hungry…

but someone else did

This morning you probably didn’t wake up cold and under a bridge… but someone else did.

This morning you probably didn’t wake up hungry and alone… but someone else did.

This morning you probably didn’t wake up in a hospital bed wondering if this could be your last day… but someone else did.

This morning you probably didn’t wake up to neglect, hurt, and abuse… but someone else did.

This morning you probably didn’t wake up to sounds of gunfire and screams… but someone else did.

This morning you probably didn’t wake up to aching pain and heartache of a love long gone… but someone else did.

Today… don’t forget how blessed you are and how many things you should be thankful for.

If you have a roof over your head and a warm bed to sleep in, you are blessed.

If you have food in your fridge and no worries about where your next meal will come from, you are blessed.

If you have shoes on your feet and clothes on your back, you are blessed.

If you have money in your wallet and savings in the bank, you are blessed.

If you can live freely without the worrying about being tortured, imprisoned, or in danger because of your faith, you are blessed.

If you have friends and family around you that support and love you, you are blessed.

If you can walk, talk, breathe, and live, you are blessed.

If you know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, you are really blessed.

Don’t wait for Thanksgiving to count your blessings, count them today.

And if you yourself are struggling… never let praises leave your lips and thanksgiving leave your heart.

Do what Paul tells the church to do in Philippians 4:6 – “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God”, and know…

God will provide for you when you can’t provide for yourself.

God will strengthen you, when you can’t find strength yourself.

God will make a way, when you can’t find the way yourself.

God will take care of you.  Anna… ♥

1 Thessalonians 5:18-Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Ephesians 5:20 – “Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

“If you threw all your problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, you would grab yours back.”
